Another scandal hits Boris Johnson. He is said to have attended a garden party during the country’s coronation. It was revealed by internal email.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is said to have attended a garden party at 10 Downing Street during the country’s lockdown. ITV News writes on Monday.

ITV News is coming up with a new revelation on British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday.

They have been given access to an email revealing the festivities that took place in 10 Downing Street Park in May 2020. The address is the Prime Minister’s Office in London.

This happened while the British lived under strict restrictions. The country was in its first lockdown. A maximum of two people from different families must be present, two people at a time. In workplaces, the rule has been that meetings should take place physically only if they are “absolutely necessary”.

But on this sunny May day in 2020, 10 Downing Street found it a good idea to invite 100 employees to a garden party.

“After an incredibly crowded period, it was fun to make the most of the nice weather. We can have some social distancing drinks in the park tonight,” the invitation read.

And she continued, “Come in from 6 pm. Bring your own drink.”

About 40 people are said to have taken part, according to ITV.

It was Johnson’s former adviser Dominic Cummings who first revealed the party. He did it alone Articles Sunday evening. He was dismissed from the Prime Minister’s office in November 2020. Since then, there has been blood between Cummings and Johnson.

Downing Street 10 does not wish to comment on the matter for ITV.

This is not the first time Johnson has been criticized for not complying with rules he himself introduced. Just before Christmas, he received harsh criticism for meeting his colleagues over cheese and wine in the Prime Minister’s Garden. That was also in May 2020.

A slap in the face to the British people, the opposition Labor Party’s deputy leader, Angela Rayner, told Watchman Give.

The Prime Minister’s Office itself defended the meeting.

– In this case, it was a business meeting after a press conference, said in a statement, among other things he prepared BBC.
