French fashion designer Thierry Mugler has passed away. He published the news of his death through his official account on Instagram.

Mugler is 73 years old.

– We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Mr. Manfred Thierry Mugler, Sunday 23 January 2022. Rest in peace, as stated in the post.

It is with great sadness that Pete Mugler announces the death of Manfred Thierry Mugler. He’s a visionary with an imagination like a fashion designer, perfume maker, and image maker who has given people all over the world the strength to be bolder and dream bigger every day, says the post.

Mugler launched her own brand in 1974, and had a huge impact on fashion in the 1980s. his bold combinations He defined the fashion style «powerdressing».

The stars welcomed her

Superstar Beyoncé, 40, shared the deceased designer on her website. There she posted a black and white photo of him, writing: “Rest in peace”.

Actress Dua Lipa (26 years old) shared the same photo on Instastory.

On the same photo-sharing service, Kourtney Kardashian (42) posted a photo of her, Kim Kardashian (41), Khloe Kardashian (37) and Kris (66), Kendall (26) and Kylie Jenner (24) in Mugler dresses.

Model Bella Hadid, 25, commented under a picture on Mugler’s Instagram account. There she writes: “No, no, no, no, no,” followed by a sad emoji.

Georgia May Jagger, who became the face of his perfume “Angel” in 2014, also commented on the post on her Instagram account:

– I can’t believe this is true, and I send love to all of you. Terry was a force of creativity and kindness.
