Elon Musk believes today’s Tesla FSD is enough for 100 percent self-driving cars, but he also announced that the Cybertruck will be upgraded with a new model.
Tesla FSD will be four times faster next year
The company has had to upgrade the Nvidia machine twice to keep up with software development (and the need for more security), and Tesla chips are quickly maxed out today: Chief delivers a new FSD machine to launch from Cybertruck next year following the announcement of the car Sports performance for the first time in 2019.
We expect another test in California as the SUV will not be launched in Europe due to its size.
Cybertruck is likely to start production in the summer of 2022
Musk was mentioned during AI Day (where Tesla revealed that they will be making one Robot) to “Hardware 4” or “FSD Computer 2”. Musk says so.
The launch could take place in about a year, which makes sense in regards to the launch of Cybertruck. 4G devices will be about four times faster.
Increased performance is needed to increase safety between self-driving cars and cars with human drivers.
