Watch out for the snow, the meteorologist warns.
On Thursday evening, the Norwegian Meteorological Institute issued a snow warning for Troms and Finnmark. Forecasts are valid from Thursday 20:00 until night until Saturday 01:00.
“From Thursday evening, snow and minus degrees are expected above about 200-400 metres,” the meteorologist said.
“In some places, freezing rain and snow can also occur in lowlands due to heavy rain.”
Already on Thursday afternoon there is mud on the roads in Tromsø:

It’s important to be a little alert on Thursday and Friday, Eric Samuelsen, a meteorologist on duty at Vervarslinga in Tromsø, tells Nordelles. The weather will vary locally.
– Heavy rain will fall Thursday night in Troms. Samuelsen says the rain will subside during the night and there will be more weather in the house.
Friday morning we get lower pressure from the south and they give off milder air in coastal areas.
Hence it is the border areas towards Finland and the Finnmark Plateau that can turn white. On Friday, cooler air is expected indoors.
– In Kilpis, for example, there may be frost and snow, says the meteorologist.
On Saturday and Sunday, temperatures are rising dramatically across the province.
