Elite Series, generator FK | Molde captured the top of the table in the Elite Series

Ola Brynhildsen (22) hasn’t scored many goals this year. But when my mould was about to mess around and lose points, the wing file flashed.

Templates – Troms 3-0:

Coaches Erling Moe and Molde went from being totally superior in the first half against Tromsø to losing the hard roof they had on the visitors after a side change.

However, the gold chasing team managed to dodge the goals into the Molde team’s goal. Serious defender Christopher Haugen gave MFK a first-half lead, while Ola Brynhildsen set up 2-0 when Tromsø left the hosts shaky in the second half.

The result means Molde is back in the top spot in the Elite Series on goal difference ahead of Bodo/Glimt. Glimt plays its match in the 22nd round of the league on Sunday at home against Sarpsborg 08.

close to 1-1

Just a quarter of an hour before the end of the match, Anders Jenssen was only a few centimeters away from a 1-1 draw. Substitute TIL’s header rebounded into the post past MFK goalkeeper Andreas Linde, and the Swede would have had a chance to save if the finish had passed inland.

Just a few seconds later, Ola Brynhildsen takes responsibility for his generator problems after interacting with Emil Breivik. The first shot well and controlled his right leg, the goal 2-0 was hooked along the artificial turf.

Four minutes after Molde’s second goal, Martin Björnback also scored from a corner kick. Breivik is second on the ball again, and so is Bjørnbak noted for his third net acquaintance of the year at Eliteserien.

The score could have been 3-0 quickly after 45 minutes, while after two rounds the score was actually less descriptive of Tromsø’s team that got up in the last half.

heavy pressure

Moldy started Saturday’s game by putting a lot of pressure on the guests. Sometimes it looked like Tromso couldn’t even get the ball.

However, the distinguishing feature did not result in a goal for Erling Moe’s gold-hunting crew in the first 20 minutes.

Fellow coach Gaute Helstrup and guests from the North gradually got a little more involved in the match. But they couldn’t stop Ola Brynhildsen getting his biggest goal-scoring chance of the match after just over half an hour of play.

He hit Molde’s wing when he cut in from the left side, and Jacob Carlstrom hit one of his fingers at the superb goal. Tromsø’s two-meter-high keeper came out at full length and barely managed to direct the ball to the crossbar and off.

But two minutes later, the first goal of the match came at Acre Stadium. Unusually hungry left back Christopher Hogan was the man to score again.

It was Haugen’s sixth goal of the season in the Elite Series. The defender from Klepp scored 1-0 from a tilted angle when a crossbar from Ohi Omojjuanfo on the right side finally found her way to the other side of the field.

Although one of the goals looked like a somewhat disappointing point, Molde can say he was more than happy with the 3-0 win in the end.
