We’ve got a word from a Nexpaq rep that the first batch of modular gadgets (approx. 150 units) will be sent out before the end of this month. The second batch (approx. 850 units) is to follow in March/April.
Despite delays, Nexpaq users will be pleased with what they’re about to receive. The design of phonepaq (modular case for smartphones) and batpaq (standalone modular device) has been finalized, with noticeable improvements of the previous versions. The gadgets look rock solid with a nice feel in hand. So the wait has clearly paid off.
The current versions of phonepaq are suitable for iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Phonepaq boasts 6 slots for interchangeable modules. As of now, the following modules can be ordered on the official Nexpaq website: air quality tester, alcohol tester, laser pointer, led flashlight, loudspeaker, temperature and humidity sensor, SD card, usb-port module and extra-battery module.
Every single module is compatible with batpaq, which works with any mobile device.
We reckon Nexpaq devices will gain a widespread popularity by 2018-2019 if the company continues to release a broad range of new modules and keeps up the developing pace.
