The longest-running Norwegian film continues its triumphant run at the international level.
Now the place has been secured in the shortlist for the UK’s biggest film award, the British Academy Film Awards.
The film and Reinsve are represented in several categories.
Rensev is included in the list of Best Actress. The film is included in the list of Best Non-English Language Film and Best Screenplay.
It states British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA, as the award is also called) Wednesday afternoon.
They have now released the “long list” of nominees for the award, which will be handed out on March 13.
Final nominations will be announced on February 3rd.

At the same time, a number of major US publications in recent weeks have cited “The Worst Man in the World” and Renate Rensev as possible Oscar nominees.
Reinsve received the award for last summer Best Actress at the Cannes Film FestivalOne of the world’s most prestigious film awards.
Many big names in Hollywood have put their love to the “Worst Man in the World”. Earlier this week, actress Jamie Lee Curtis bragged about the movie on Instagram.

The trailer for the American movie was released on Tuesday of this week. The US premiere is February 4th.
In Norway approx. 220,000 watched the movie in cinemas.
No SAG filtration
Wednesday afternoon nominations also went to America Screen Actors Guild Awards Posted. The American Actors Guilds are behind the award.
The SAG Awards, as they are also called, are often a hint of what the outcome will be at the most famous film awards, the Academy Awards, also known as the Academy Awards.
There were no nominations for “Worst Man in the World” on SAG.
The SAG Awards contain nine Television Awards and six Film Awards. Representatives from countries other than the United States are often not remunerated.
This year “Squid Game” excels as the first non-English language series to receive a SAG nomination.
The nominees for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Movie are Lady Gaga, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Chastain and Olivia Colman.
The Oscar nominations come on February 8th. The award ceremony will take place on March 27th.
