This was confirmed by the player’s agent to Nettavisen.

The Cypriot club AEK Larnaka wrote on their website that the Norwegian ended immediately.

– We have agreed with Fredrik Haugen to end the collaboration, we would like to thank him for his time here and wish him all the best, they write on their website.

Bergen native Bran left for Cyprus again in January 2020, but the residency did not have much success. He played nine matches for the club in a year and a half.

– We have dialogue with clubs both in Norway and abroad, the player’s agent Daniel Steinfeld wrote in a short message to Nettavisen.

Famous player in Bran

Before moving to Cypriot AEK Larnaka, Haugen played for SK Brann. Bergenren signed with Bran in 2010 and played 276 games for the red-clad team.

A lot has happened here recently and the sporting director, coach and several players have all been replaced. “I want to play football and it was an all-around situation where we found it was best to look for other opportunities,” Haugen told Discovery by phone from Cyprus on Tuesday afternoon.

Haugen also scored 28 goals during the period and became a popular player among the fans of the club in Bergen. During his nearly ten years at Brann, Haugen earned silver and bronze with the club in the Elite Series.
