He tells ABC News that the father agreed to sign the papers, but the couple were in the midst of a serious quarrel.

The last message from Teni was sent on the first Sunday of May. She wrote to her brother Daniel on Messenger and mentioned that she was in a small fishing village with poor coverage.

– Something was wrong, explains the brother.

– Both are missing

According to the Attorney General of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, Oscar Montes de Oca Rosales, the course of events is rather strange.

– We analyze the surveillance videos in chronological order. The family visited Cancun for a day, booked a hotel and returned to Merida. But on the way, they decided to return to Cancun, and that’s when the girl was found, he tells local media, republished in the Australian newspaper The Courier Mail.

According to the prosecutor, the father of the two-year-old girl was deported from the United States after an attack on a police officer. Ex-girlfriends are also said to have reported him for violence.

At this point, they are both victims. They are missing people. Later we can find out if he was responsible, but so far he is just a victim, notes Montes de Oca Rosales.

A family friend created a Pence List on the GoFundMe website To raise money so the family can look for a henna on their own.
