The Oscar-winning production company Plan B is now being sold to France’s Mediawan.

Actor Brad Pitt founded the production company Plan B in 2001 with then-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston and manager Brad Gray.

Pitt’s critically acclaimed production company, Plan B, is behind blockbusters like “Moonlight” and “The Big Short.”

Now the actor is selling 60 percent of the company to the French media conglomerate Mediawan.

Many international media have sources saying that the company is worth $300 million. This corresponds to about NOK 3 billion.

The agreement will be that Pete and his partners Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, who run the production company on a day-to-day basis, will continue with the company.

Plan B was started in 2001 by Brad Pitt, his then-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, and manager Brad Gray. Pitt became the sole owner after the divorce from Aniston.

The Wall Street Journal He writes that the acquisition is one of several in which big media houses are doing business with smaller production companies that started out with established Hollywood names.
