Aker Solutions secures orders for nearly 50 billion

Aker Solutions has now secured a number of contracts with Aker BP, according to two different stock exchange announcements on Friday morning.

In the first, it was reported that after Aker BP and its partners submitted several development plans (the so-called PUDs), Aker Solutions and its partners signed contracts for the Yggdrasil, Valhall PWP-Fenris and Skarv satellites.

For Aker Solutions, these contracts represent orders of close to NOK 50 billion in the fourth quarter. It would be the company’s highest ever quarterly order.

“This record high demand will ensure higher levels of activity and predictability at all Aker Solutions sites across Norway, as well as many of our international sites participating in these projects in the coming years, subject to the authorities’ temporary incentive programme,” says Aker CEO Solution Kjetel Digre in comment.

In another announcement, Aker Solutions reported that it had also signed a two-year contract extension for maintenance and retrofit work for field centers operated by Aker BP Valhall, Ula, Alvheim and Skarv.

The term is a fixed period of two years from December 2022 to December 2024. Aker Solutions considers the contract to be “significant”.

The company sets a significant contract between NOK 2.5 and 4 billion.
