The municipality of Ålesund arrived on Wednesday with advice to residents to keep a distance of one meter in public places. The reason is the increased pressure of infection in the municipality.

And 34 new cases were confirmed in the municipality, Tuesday. The increase in cases of infection is worrying politicians in the municipality as in their own case Locations It comes with new tips for residents.

The pressure of infection is increasing, and everyone should now go the extra mile, follow infection control guidelines, and stay 1 meter apart from others wherever possible, says Chief Municipal Doctor Erin Stensvik, according to Sunnmørsposten.

According to the municipality, no nightclubs or restaurants will be needed to reduce the number of visitors, but the industry is encouraged to make arrangements so that customers can follow tips to keep their distance.

The municipality is also asking residents to consider face masks when they are at events where it is difficult to keep their distance.

So far, the municipality’s crisis department has only given advice, but if infections do not decrease, it may be related to stricter local measures.

We don’t want very intrusive measures in people’s daily lives, so we only bring advice in this roundup. But if there is no improvement, we will consider taking stricter measures, says Mayor Stephen Hasseldahl.
