(St. Louis Blues-Minnesota Wild 6-5, after overtime) After two games without points, Mats Zuccarello (34) returned with two assists Saturday night. Thus, he set himself a record for the most assists in a season and set a new record.
Saturday’s game was Zuccarillo’s 684th regular season game in the National Hockey League, and he now scores 162 goals and 339 assists during those games — for a total of 501 goal points. Zuccarello also has 84 NHL playoffs, standing with 46 goals.
Despite Zucca’s scoring passes and Wild in the third half bringing 1-4 to 5-5, there were losses after overtime for Zuccarello and Wild.
The two scoring passes mean he now has 52 assists this season, more than the previous club record for Pierre-Marc Bouchard in the 2007/08 season, which Zuka equaled earlier in April.
– At the moment it does not mean much, as long as you did not get the victory. Zuccarello says I don’t think about it now Press conference After the battle for achievement the club scored.
There are also likely to be many meetings between the Wild and the Blues in the near future. As it stands, the two will meet each other in the first round of the playoffs.
The Norwegian made his NHL debut on Christmas Eve in 2010 and has since become a fan favorite in both the New York Rangers, where he played until April 2019, and in Minnesota Wild, where he was the last three seasons. The Norwegian also briefly visited the Dallas Stars at the end of the 2018/19 season.
Prior to the 2021/22 season, the 2015/16 season was the season in which the Norwegian scored the most goals with a total of 61 goals (26 goals and 35 assists) in 81 matches.

Consecutive with Ryan Hartman and Kirill Kaprizov, Zuccarello had his best season in terms of points this season, now standing with 52 assists and 22 goals in 66 games, for a total of 74 goal points, which is the best clear record.
Initially Zuccarello appeared to hit 500 goal points after taking a pirate from Kaprizov, who in turn earned a pinch to Hartmann’s scorer when Wilde tied Wilde 1-1 early in the second half.
The Norwegian was originally credited with the pass to score the goal, but was later omitted. Thus, Wilde’s second goal of the evening was to be Zuka’s 500th goal, when Ryan Hartmann, whose shot through Blues player Marco Scandella was sent into the net.
Five minutes before the end of the third half, Zuccarello played a central role again, when he triumphed in the attacking area and sent Kaprizov in front of the goal, tying the score 5-5.
Zuccarello now holds the club’s record alone for most assists, but it’s not certain he will hold it all the way out of the season.
Kaprizov is chasing just behind him, and has even been standing with 50 assists this season. Thus, there could be a battle between two teammates over the club’s record for most assists during the final games of the season. Kaprizov has now scored 93 goals this season, which is also a new club record. Kaprizov scored 43 goals in one season which is also a club record in the wild.
Minnesota Wild was founded in 1997, but didn’t start playing in the NHL until 2000.
For the Minnesota Wild, there are eight games remaining from the regular season before the playoffs after Saturday’s game.
revision: An earlier version of the case stated that Zuccarello had assisted with the first goal. It was later settled. Status corrected at 23.39.
