Attack on the headquarters of the Wagner Group: alleged "significant losses"

Earlier, Western intelligence reported that the Wagner Group had suffered heavy losses. They primarily fight on the front lines in Luhansk and Donetsk.

For a long time, the Kremlin did not acknowledge that the mercenaries were allied with Russia, but after the invasion of Ukraine, Wagner soldiers are considered an essential part of the Russian occupation forces.

Yevgeny Prigozhin had previously criticized the Russian war, which he considered ineffective. He is also considered a potential rival to Vladimir Putin.
