Police and healthcare moved in on Tuesday The violent accident at the address in Byåsen After being notified of a person being injured.

The violence is said to have been perpetrated with what COO Viola Elverum describes as an “object”.

The man, in his mid-twenties, was taken to the hospital for a check-up.

Police stated early on that his injuries were not life threatening. On Tuesday afternoon, the handling of the Philly Criminal Case (FSI) could indicate no serious injuries.

A brief preliminary interrogation of the victim was conducted.

One person arrested

By 11am, when the police left, they already had control of a named suspect.

– The person entered the apartment himself, and we control him. COO Elverum told Nidaros at the time that he was isolated in a room, and therefore posed no danger to others.

At 1.55pm, FSI’s Director of Police Investigations, Ton Christine Reitan, stated that the person arrested was a man in his 50s who was well known to the police.

The suspect is not currently being questioned.

According to Raytan, the relationship between the suspect and the victim is still unclear.

Raytan does not want to say whether the “thing” that was used was a weapon, or whether it was controlled by the police.

– I do not want to go into details about the object. She says the investigation will be able to clarify this.

Furthermore, work is underway on the preliminary investigation, which includes securing evidence and questioning witnesses.

– It is not clear how many witnesses, or whether there were witnesses, says Retan.
