This is the day we’ve been looking forward to for so long. Our goal is to make ‘1624’ with Clarion Collection Hotel Kongsberg, the 1624 Restaurant & Bar and Wellness Department the leading meeting place in the city. The rooftop restaurant has already been fully booked for several evenings ahead. Several room reservations have also been received from Kongsberg’s growing business community, which has long advocated a premium hotel product, Dana Ali, hotel manager at Clarion Collection Hotel Kongsberg, says in a press release.

– Aims to become a leader

The hotel’s goal is to be the natural first choice for quality-conscious guests, with an intimate and cozy atmosphere of comfort, as well as modern rooms with great city views. The hotel has also set up its own wellness department which, together with its professional therapists, will offer a wide range of treatments for both body and soul.

There are high expectations associated with the hotel locally. We now aim to establish ourselves as a leading hotel with a special focus on business travelers and locals who want to use the restaurant, bar and wellness, says Dana Ali.

Kongsberg is one of Norway’s fastest growing cities, approx. One hour from Oslo by train or car, with a great technical environment and direct proximity to wonderful nature and cultural experiences. By offering a new residence in Kongsberg, as well as the existing Quality Hotel Grand Kongsberg and Magazinet, the city will be able to attract more visitors and hold larger conferences.

The new hotel building is owned by PK Group.
