- Join Alesund – Kristiansund at 18.00 on Sunday Discover +.
Early on Wednesday, Discovery was able to tell that Frederic Haugen was on the verge of becoming an Alesund player. The club confirmed, on Wednesday afternoon, that the midfielder had signed a contract for the rest of the year.
Haugen has been without contract since New Year’s, when his contract with Stabæk expired. Lars Arne Nielsen explains that Haugen will fill the void left by Niclas Castro who signed for Bran earlier this week.

RBK Team Leader about the poor race: – There have been drastic changes

“It’s so nice to be ready for AaFK, and I’m really looking forward to getting started,” Haugen tells the website.
Haugen came to Stabæk in the middle of last season, when his contract with Cypriot AEK Larnaca was terminated after just half a year. The stay at the Byrom Club did not last long. When they were relegated to the OBOS League at the end of the season, Haugen went into his final days in the blue suit.
He scored three goals and assisted two in 13 games.
