Confirms the sequel – ITavisen

Nothing CEO Carl Pei confirms the company is really ready with this year’s Phone 2. You have to release it annually, especially when you’re new and relying on interest.

Winter 2023 also kicks off in Norway?

So Bay embarked on a PR tour in the American media, because this is the model that will also be launched across the Atlantic. Now that nothing has created a more powerful device around it, also including the logistics, that’s possible.

Unfortunately, Pei doesn’t have pictures or any particular information to reveal yet, just that the mobile phone will be more “premium” (in order to increase the price) than the first Phone 1 they launched in March 2022.

We had almost 10 times more profit in 2022 than in 2021. We had over $200 million in revenue in 2022, $24 million in 2021, so we’re growing very quickly. We have already shipped over 1 million products.

Qualcomm with a more “premium” design

The launches will take place in the United States on the eve of 2023. We do not know if this also applies to Europe. Pei boasts that two-thirds of the company’s earplugs are sold in the United States. In other words, it is a market that they must try with more expensive products.

None actually made a deal with Snapdragon manufacturer Qualcomm, so that part isn’t a mystery.

The question is whether the Phone 2 will use Qualcomm’s mid-range chip like the Phone 1 (Snapdragon 778G), or whether it will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or possibly Gen 3 if it’s ready later this year.
