Fear of the highly contagious omicron of the covid-19 virus means the municipality is giving a clear recommendation to everyone who goes home at Christmas.

– All visitors are advised to take the corona test when you come home to Narvik at Christmas. We have 24 hour reception services and it is possible to take a coronary exam at the former Framens High School in Narvik, the brewing station in Bjornfjell (24 hours a day), and at the doctors’ offices in Balangen. and Kjøpsvik, infection control doctor Thomas Holtstedt says in a press release.
