Martin Odegaard & Co takes a break for the national team, eight points ahead of Manchester City.

The biggest player in the match was Bukayo Saka, who scored two goals, but after the match he was disappointed, according to coach Mikel Arteta.

Ødegaard’s cannon ball was stopped by the goalkeeper’s talent

Wilfried Zaha came agonizingly close to putting the visitors ahead after ten minutes, but his shot hit the post, before the ball hit the back of Aaron Ramsdale and went off a corner kick.

On the other side of the court was 19-year-old Joe Whitworth guarding the cage. The youngster made his debut against Brighton earlier this week.

After 17 minutes, he was tested by Martin Ødegaard. The Norwegian kicked the ball wide, but his goalkeeping talent was on the scoresheet and he managed to knock the ball wide.

After 28 minutes, the goalkeeping talent had to give way. Gabriel Martinelli was ruthless as he put the ball into the net. Ten minutes later, Bukayo Saka doubled the lead after a fine finish from Ben White.

Ten minutes after the start of the second half, Granit Xhaka scored the third goal of the match after a beautiful interaction with Leonardo Trossard.

The fans stood up and chanted the Swiss’s name.

Geoffrey Schlupp lit a glimmer of hope for Palace after 62 minutes, but ten minutes later Saka peppered the game with his second goal.
