The deceased is a 50-year-old Norwegian.

– Based on the investigations we have carried out, among other things, bank accounts, we have found that the person may have died in February 2020, Gründe Naas, head of the investigative unit in Bergen Sour, told VG.

He says the death appears to be natural, but nothing can be said about the cause of death. No information on criminal activity.

At the request of relatives, the police will not release the name of the deceased.

The deceased was found on February 26 in a tent in a wooded area in Sandsley, Bergen, and appeared to have been lying for a long time. This discovery was made by dog ​​walkers when the dog reacted to the tent.

Date-stamped food items and passports were also found in the tent.
