died unexpectedly

Adam Zimmer, assistant coach of the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL, has passed away. His sister Cory Zimmer says so on Instagram, and US media reports, including major newspapers New York Post.

– I can’t believe I’m writing this. I lost my big brother yesterday. He was the kindest, sweetest, most loving family spirit and a sports lover, sister writes Instagram.

Zimmer joined the Bengals this season as an attacking game analyst.

Previously, he worked with the Minnesota Vikings, where his father was a coach. He was also with the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs.

My heart is broken and it hurts so much. I don’t know how to manipulate being a mother with 1-year-old twins and grieving the unexpected loss of my brother. Sister writes, I am so lost, I am so exhausted, I am so broken.

His father Mike Zimmer worked for the Bengals from 2008 to 2013.

Our organization has known and worked with the Zimmer family for 15 years. We have the highest respect for Mike and Adam. “We are deeply sorry for this tragic news,” Bengals president Mike Brown said in a statement.

The cause of Adam Zimmer’s death is not yet known.
