Economics and Business, Elvia | She became the CEO of Elvia Online

– I had no doubts that I would accept this job.

So says Anny Sagstuen Nysæther, who was announced in a press release on Friday as Elvia’s new online CEO. She has 14 years of experience with the company, coming from the position of Director of Online Strategy.

“I am both honored and inspired to have the opportunity to work with a large competent organization to solve the important social mission we have as an online company,” Naiser says in the press release.

– Elvia is crucial to people’s everyday lives, and we have an incredible number of exciting and important tasks ahead of us.

She takes up the new position in mid-March.

Strong understanding

Eidsiva’s CEO, and Elvia’s chairman, Øistein Andresen, is pleased that Nysæther wanted to become managing director after Trond Skjellerud, who would become the Pearl Group’s new IT leader after 13 years at the helm of Eidsiva.

– Anne has worked for the Eidsiva Group in various management positions since 2007, in addition to having a background of six years from Statnett. She has a strong understanding of the entire online company, and we’re very pleased that she has agreed to continue to lead the online company,” Andersen says.

Anderson says they were concerned with continuity when selecting a new CEO for the company.

– Over several years, Eidsiva Group has worked systematically with succession planning. With that as a starting point, it was only natural that we would reach for an internal filter. Anne has always been considered a strong candidate for a leadership role in Elvia one day.

difficult decision

Giving himself up for the job, Skjellerud says it is with a heavy heart that he leaves the position, only a year and a half after getting the job.

In many ways, this was one of my most difficult decisions. Eidsiva has taken up most of my time for 13 years, and I will miss getting up every day to help fulfill our social mission. Plus, after that long, you’ll miss many good colleagues across the company, he says.
