French DJ Snake is ready for Utopia.
– Get a name like DJ Snake into a huge Stavanger! The world’s greatest artists want to collaborate with him, and this has resulted in a successful roster that few others can match, festival director Espen Knauf says in a press release.
– He’s a party guarantor that fits perfectly into a utopian world that I know would create a crazy life.
DJ Snakes songs have billions of streams on streaming services, and he’s been on stage at festivals like Ultra, Coachella, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.
The breakthrough came in 2013, when he released the song “Turn Down For What” (feat. Lil Jon). In 2015, the song “Lean On” was released in collaboration with MØ and Major Lazer. Also mentioned were “Taki Taki” with Selena Gomez and Cardi B, “Magenta Riddim”, “Let Me Love You” with Justin Bieber and “Middle”.
DJ Snake is also a popular producer who, among other things, boasts a Grammy Award nomination for Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” album, and has remixed songs by artists like Kanye West and Major Lazer.
His track record is very impressive. He managed to cross genres between electronic, urban and international music in a very special way. There are always catchy beats and great mood music! Knauf adds, we’ve been looking forward to it and have worked for a long time.
