‘As it were’ has now set a record, reports BBC.

No other British artist can boast of such a long, unbroken time at the top of the chart Billboard Hot 100 with the same song.

So far, Elton John (75) and Mark Ronson (47) have shared the number one spot (14 weeks) with “Candle in the Wind” and “Uptown Funk” respectively.

In Norway, “As It Was” can boast 11 weeks on the VG roster, with second place at best. At the time of writing this report It’s in the 20th place.
