American actress Barbara Rush has died at the age of 97. This was reported by many foreign media, including Watchman.

Rush is best known for his roles in 1950s films such as Magnificent Obsession and The Young Philadelphians, as well as the 1953 science fiction film It Came from Outer Space.
Rush's acting career began when she performed on stage at the Pasadena Playhouse, where she was discovered by a talent scout who signed her with Paramount Pictures in 1950.
In the same year, she made her big screen debut in the film “The Goldbergs”, which was based on Gertrude Berg’s comedy-drama.
During his career, Rush played opposite many famous actors such as Paul Newman, Dean Martin, Marlon Brando, and Frank Sinatra, to name a few. In 1954, she won a Golden Globe Award for her role in It Came from Outer Space.
