If you get hacked into the Elden Ring, you can do nothing but die - 100 hours lost

Unfortunately, there is a hole in the Elden Ring that is used to make you end up in the “Ring of Death”.

An ugly bug has been detected in the multiplayer section

There is no official fix for this bug yet, the bug is that a hacker visits your world and somehow destroys the storage file so that you die more than usual.

When you open the game, you will experience the same second that the character dies instantly. Therefore, it is useful to save the game frequently to avoid hitting the very boring bug.

The player reports that he has lost 100 hours of progression. The It must hurt.

This might be a possible solution

One possible solution on PC is to close the game in a second before you die using alt + F4. This way, you may be able to sign in as usual. When you log back in, open the map and retrieve the list of “Blessing Locations” and activate it as soon as possible.

FromSoftware has not yet commented on the bug after the latest game update Thursday 17 March.
