The 51-year-old plays a key role in the new Norwegian project “transfer gold”which premiered this week and will premiere on streaming service Viaplay next Thursday.
Although Øigarden has played many different roles, it is likely that the role of Jeppe Schøitt in the NRK series “Director” that caused the most reactions – especially in the Øigarden family.
I don’t think the mother is very happy in this role
When Dagbladet meets the actor, on the occasion of a press conference for “Gulltransporten”, he is asked if family and friends react to the role in “Exodus”.
– I don’t think my mother is very happy about that, Oegarden admits.
In March 2023, the third and final season of the series will arrive. The actor can reveal that a lot was going on in the past season, and can promise that it will be at least as wild and exciting as previous seasons.
There may be many who are counting down until last season comes to air and viewers meet Jeppy, but the closest cast is not among them.
He exits when asked if he watched previous seasons with his family.
My kids don’t watch it. They are not allowed to look at it. One of them is 18 years old, but I usually tell him: “If you look at that, you’ll lose your teeth,” Oegarden jokes to Dagbladet.
Warm and easy access for ladies

As for the real “Exodus” men, on whom the series is based, Oygarden suggests that his only relationship with them is through research on the series.
