Start 1–1 Grorud

Kristiansand: The start provided a disappointing match when Grorud visited Sparebanken Sør Arena on Saturday afternoon. The guests from the capital were the best team and created many great chances against the energy-less and confused starting team. It looked as if Grorud was going to win for a long time, but in overtime Brunes tied Start.

– He’s frustrated. We don’t make it all flowy during the day, and we do some simple wrong days too. It’s the first time in my life that I only had two chances in a match. I’m used to coming for more chances, frustrated Bronze told Fædrelandsvennen after the match.

– It’s a bad performance from us. There is nothing to hide. We strive to create enough opportunities. We’ve had a winter where everything went smoothly, but now we’ve faced adversity in the last two games, said Start coach Sindre Tjelmeland.

The opening second half was fast-paced. First, John Helge Tveta hit a header that only went to the side to score the goal, before Grorud once again had to prove the gravity of the advance on the field.

Five minutes into the second half, the guests had two big chances, but Jensen saved the attempts of Seriba and Hristov, respectively.

Start striving hard to create chances in the second round. He must be punished. For a quarter of an hour before the end, Sripa came alone with the goalkeeper, this time putting the cold ball into the goal.

Most indications were that Grorud would win the match, but in extra time Bronze appeared in the penalty area and saved the tie at the start with a nice header. Thus, the settlement ended 1-1.
