LIGUE 1, the lens | Lens with dramatic recovery after berg replacement

Saint-Etienne – RC 1-2 lens:

Lens owner Patrick Berg met bottom club Saint-Etienne away on Saturday afternoon, in what turned out to be an exciting football match.

After the first half, Saint-Etienne took the lead at the end of the first half after a big mistake from Linz goalkeeper Jean-Louis Leica.

Patrick Berg started off the bench but came close in the 73rd minute. Then ‘Lens’ finally got the bonus.

Four minutes later, Lens tied 1-1 when Florian Sotoka hit a corner kick. Lens kept pressing and after five minutes of extra time the yellow team succeeded.

Seko Fofana’s golden calf sent Lens fans to heaven when he sealed the match with a fine finishing touch.

Direktesport commentator Robin Haugen said after the Lens captain scored for overtime: – It’s just the art of football what Fofana does there.

Berg played mostly for the safe after being substituted, but he still garnered praise from commentator Hogan after the match.

Patrick Berg is involved in it all. It certainly sums up Berg’s influence, although again Fofana is behind the comeback, he explains.

Fatal error

The first half was a relatively even game with many good chances for both teams. Seven minutes before the end of the first half, the home team got a hole in the boil when the green bar took a lead in front.

Adel Aoucheesh shot from the left and at the back post Riyad Boudebouz put the ball into the goal through the clumsy Linz goalkeeper Jean-Louis Leica. The goalkeeper’s match was not particularly impressive.

– The one you have to take. It is an awesome goalkeeper game. It’s a huge loss, said Dirksport commentator Robin Haugen.

The battle turned

Lens chased after the equalizer in the second half, and in the 77th minute the guests were counted. Four minutes after Patrick Berg’s entry, King Jonathan Klaus managed to pass a minute corner kick, and in the first post, Florian Sotoka scored a 1-1 goal.

– Great title, exclaimed commentator Haugen.

Lens has continued to create great opportunities, and in overtime there will be great drama. After the 95th minute, Fofana sent a free kick into the penalty area.

He grabbed the ball and put it in the far corner beautifully with his right foot, at the same time sealing the Lens match.
