Hunting the culprit
The police have yet to arrest the culprit, but as reported to NRK, several witnesses have come forward with descriptions of the man involved.
A heavy police force raided the area on Saturday evening. They also patrolled with specially trained Boity dogs to trace the culprit’s disappearance from the spot.
They circled an increasingly large area around the apartment building, knocking on doors and talking to neighbors.
A scream was heard
Half an hour after the incident, forensic technicians wearing protective gear entered the apartment to secure technical clues that could provide answers to what happened.
Forensic investigations at the scene will continue throughout the evening and night, police said.
– Several witnesses have been interviewed and the work will continue, the police write in a press release.
A witness told NRK about a loud scream shortly before police arrived at the scene.
