This week, the participants of the next season of “Stjernekamp” became known, and among the ten names is Mia Gundersen (61).
Gundersen’s post became known just days after she shared the sad news that she had lost her father. She shared it herself on social media, along with a picture of her and her father.
“And then our beloved father and grandfather’s life ended, and it was very sad,” she wrote at the beginning of the post.
To Dagbladet, I wrote the following in a text message the same day I posted the post:
“Our dad was the nicest person we know. He was so positive in everything he was involved in. The family is together now, and I will miss him for a long time to come. It is unbelievable to us that our sweet dad is on the other side now.”
– It seems so far away
During the launch of “Stjernekamp,” Gundersen said, “Good evening, NorwayIt’s all sad:
– There are sad days, of course, but I managed to push them away.
– It feels really far away. It’s almost incomprehensible, Gundersen said.Good evening, Norway That father has passed away.
The 61-year-old also explained that she thought of honoring him during the song contest.
– I’ve thought about it. My father has followed me all the way. He’s also the person I inherited my musical skills from, and he played the accordion, guitar, piano, and bass as well. In fact, I think it would be a powerful driving force for me, in the wake of him not being here anymore.
In front of Dagbladet, Gundersen admits that there are difficult days at the moment.
“It’s such a loss that my dad died, he always cheered from the sidelines and felt forever alive so these are tough days now,” the artist wrote in a text message.
She also has her father in mind when she participates in the TV show.
“He’s the one from whom I inherited my music, so he’ll be very present with me for my participation in ‘Stjernekamp'”.
