New world record: Graham Hansen scores an amazing goal

Barcelona – Wolfsburg 5-1 (First Semi-Final)

Ten minutes went in when Caroline Graham Hansen set the pace on goal. Barcelona is already 1-0 up.

The 27-year-old was pulled over by the Wolfsburg defender who arrived at the position with a fine pull, before slamming the ball into the corner.

Barcelona continued to play with Graham Hansen’s old teammates. Before the break, the Catalans continued the goals that were the result of excellent offensive football.

At the Camp Nou it was boiling. With an empty seat barely visible, “Allez allez allez” and other well-known supporters’ songs echoed in the stands.

With a quarter of an hour to go, Gilles Rudd has put up an opponent in Wolfsburg’s favour. Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putillas responded with a penalty shortly thereafter.

In the back, Graham Hansen sat on the lawn and was substituted soon after.

Towards the end of March, a new world record was set in an official women’s soccer match. 91,553 spectators arrived at the Camp Nou to watch the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.

Tickets for the semi-finals were ripping up at a brisk pace. Already within a day 80,000 tickets sold.

The return leg will take place in Germany on April 30. The final will take place in Turin on May 21.
