Harry Bowie resigns as NTS interim CEO “with immediate effect”, apparently from a Saturday night message.

– I’ve been CEO “until further notice” for a long time. With the voluntary offer from SalMar, and pre-acceptance from NTS shareholders representing more than 50 percent, it is only natural for me to resign and focus instead on my own investments, says Bøe in the report.

He has held this position since June 2020.

The newly elected chairman of the NTS Board of Directors, Nils Martin Wilkessen, says Bowie has been “an important player in the management of NTS for many years and the group has evolved significantly in his time”.

The new Chairman of the Board of Directors Nils Martin Williksen attended the general meeting at NTS in Rørvik.

It will replace the board at Frøy and NRS

Williksen earlier on Saturday called for notice of the extraordinary general meeting to elect a new board of directors at the Frøy and Norway Royal Salmon, apparently from two announcements Saturday night.

He wants an unusual meeting called “as soon as possible,” Wilksen wrote. The reason why he wanted to elect a new board of directors was not mentioned in the letters.

The former Chairman of the NTS Board of Directors, Helge Gåsø, is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Royal Salmon Norwayand his son Anders Gusso is listed as director of the “larger service ships”. in Frøy. Helge Gåsø is listed as General Manager of Frøy in, among other places Prof.

Williksen was elected chairman of the board on Friday, after an open conflict between the owners, which led to the start-up of the entire company. On Wednesday of this week, it was also announced that major owners of NTS had accepted Salmar’s billionth bid.

The new chairman of the board

On one side is Gåsø, who owns 37 percent of the shares in NTS, and his allies. On the other side is a group of shareholders where the farming families based in Rorvik, Bondo, Wiliksen and Dolmen are central.

Friday’s board election is the second in a short time, after a vote on the group’s proposal to throw Gåsø by a narrow margin at a very dramatic public meeting in January.

A new board proposal was voted on this time by a majority of just over 52 percent. This means that Gåsø disappears from the board.

This is NTS

NTS is a Namdal Coast-based aquaculture group, engaged in agriculture, wellboats, cargo ships and services.

For several years NTS has been in the public transport and ambulance transport, before the first step in the aquaculture industry was included in the investment in wellboat shipping company Norsk Fisketransport in 2008.

Salmon production was first integrated into the group in 2017, through the merger with Midt-Norsk Havbruk fish farms. The following year was followed by an investment in agriculture in Iceland with Ice Fish Farm.

Salmonor was also swallowed up by the company, while Frøy ASA was listed on the stock exchange following the merger of Frøygruppen with an NTS subsidiary. Last year NTS acquired a controlling stake in listed breeding company NRS after a bidding war against Salmar.
