1989 in the country last day
In the past 24 hours, cases of corona were recorded in 1989 in Norway. This is 1,716 fewer than the same day last week.
In the past seven days, an average of 3,531 cases of corona were recorded daily.
The corresponding average seven days ago was 4.734, so the trend is declining.
Today, Saturday, 283 patients with corona were transferred to the hospital. There were five fewer than the day before. 114 patients are in the intensive care unit, of whom 79 are on a ventilator. There are five fewer in intensive care and one less on a ventilator than the day before, according to the Norwegian Health Directorate’s overview.

9.1 million corona tests
At midnight on Sunday, 9.1 million coronavirus tests had been conducted in this country since February of last year.
372,123 people have tested positive. To date, 4,279,565 people have received the first dose of coronary artery vaccine, 3,912,709 people have received the second dose, and 1,433,238 have received the third dose.
Preliminary figures show that a total of 1,257 people with corona have died in Norway since March 2020. It is not always possible to determine whether patients have died from or contracted COVID-19.
58.6% of all deaths are 80 years old. In the age group less than 50, 29 deaths have been reported in Norway.
