One person was killed and several others injured after the GloRilla concert

Rap star Gloriella, who had a huge hit last year with the Grammy-nominated song “FNF (Lets Go),” held a concert Sunday in Rochester, New York.

When the concert ended, shortly after 11pm, the crowd, having heard gunfire at the venue, began rushing towards the exit.

Police said they found no evidence that a firearm was used, or that someone was stabbed at the scene, the news agency wrote. AP.

Several serious injuries

When the police entered the building, they found several seriously injured women. According to eyewitnesses at the scene, people were trampled.

A 33-year-old woman died in hospital, while two others were seriously injured. Seven other people received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries after the concert, the Associated Press reported.

– said Police Chief David M. Smith, during a press conference, said that what began as an evening of live music and joy for the artist Glorella, ended with the tragedy of one person being murdered and two fighting for their lives.

Police are investigating several possible causes of the deadly mayhem, highlighting the number of spectators, the shooting and the use of pepper spray.

Rochester’s mayor promises a thorough investigation of the evening’s security measures.

“Just heard what happened – what the hell,” the rapper wrote, adding that she’s sending out prayers that everyone’s okay.

The accident takes place more than a year after the Astroworld tragedy, in which ten people lost their lives after a stampede in the audience.
