Kylian Mbappe secured PSG’s home win against Angers when he got the chance from a penalty just before the end.
PSG had to train on Friday night without both Lionel Messi and Neymar, who were playing for their national teams on Friday night.
Without the star duo, the French capital’s team had a hard time meeting Angers at home in the Parc des Princes.
Angelo Fulgeni made sure of the visitors’ lead before the end of the first half, before Danilo Pereira scored the equalizer 20 minutes before the end of the match.
– Impossible to understand
Five minutes before the end, Kylian Mbappe got a chance to send PSG ahead with a penalty kick, after the ball hit the hand of the Angers defender.
Referee Bastien Dechepy chose to point to the chalk mark after checking the VAR, although Direktesport commentator Robin Haugen thought PSG was a bit lucky.
“I think it’s a bit strict, but it’s impossible to understand the rule of hands,” said commentator Haugen.
The Angers players could smell victory in the air.
From the penalty spot, Mbappe was safe when he dropped the ball into the right corner.

Engage in the lead
It was the home team that showed the latest pace at the start in the Parc des Princes, but without putting Angers goalkeeper Paul Bernardoni to the big tests.
But during the first half, the guests got more into the game and had more chances. And when Vulgeni came forward after 36 minutes, it wasn’t undeserved.
Marco Verratti lost the ball in the Angers penalty area. The hosts immediately began a counterattack, with the ball eventually played to Sofiane Boufal on the right. The Moroccan hit a low and difficult ball at the back post, where Fulgeni waited and advanced in front.
– It’s simply a great counter-attack and a good scoring, commentator Haugen’s verdict was on scoring.
hit the back
After the break, PSG put a lot of pressure on Angers’ defense, and with 20 minutes left to play, the equalizer was a reality.
Kylian Mbappé received the ball on the right side, but Danilo Pereira managed to get the rebound and shove the ball into the empty net. Defensive midfielder heads safely 1-1.
And five minutes before the end, it was the second match of the night for Paris Saint-Germain, when Mbappe got a chance from a penalty kick.
Thus, Pochettino’s men can cheer for another win in Ligue 1.
