Pope Francis in hospital for bowel surgery – Politics

Catholic leader of the church in the clinic!

Pope Francis, 84, has been admitted to a hospital in Rome for planned bowel surgery.

As the Vatican announced on Sunday afternoon, Pope “Agostino Jemelli” is in the polyclinic. Accordingly, it is a surgery on the colon.

Doctors led by Professor Sergio Alberi wanted to perform the surgery on Sunday. The Vatican has announced it will release additional information after the treatment.

According to the Vatican, Francis has intestinal disease. It develops protrusions in the intestinal wall, which can become inflamed.

In this case doctors are talking about diverticulitis. This can sometimes cause pain or fever in the patient. The disease is common in the elderly.

Three hours earlier, Francis had encouraged the public at a traditional Angels prayer in St. Peter’s Square and said he would travel to Hungary and Slovakia in September.

A week ago, Francis asked the public for special prayers for the Pope using the same traditional look. Is this a reference to planned action?
