American media bloomberg He discusses what was about to cost German luxury car brand Porsche dearly. Because when the new version of the Porsche Panamera model was to go on sale in China, the supplier significantly lost the price.
Instead of putting the car up for sale for CNY 998,000, it was listed for CNY 124,000, equivalent to NOK 183,000. By comparison, the price of the relatively new Panamera models in Finn is over a million.
According to Bloomberg, several hundred lightning-fast buyers were able to pull the trigger and buy the car at market price.
Unfortunately for them, and to the dismay of many on social media, Porsche withdrew their “offer” and refunded the money people had spent. They referred to the blunder as a “fatal mistake”.
But at the same time, it might look as if a lucky buyer got some kind of deal anyway. A company spokesperson told Bloomberg that the first person to pounce on the offer was able to negotiate a “lucrative agreement.”
Other buyers received a personal phone call from the German auto giant apologizing for the error.
