Barcelona had a good starting point ahead of the return leg at home against Real Madrid.
But at home they were completely overtaken by the rival.
Barcelona, who lead Real Madrid by 12 points in LaLiga, saw the goals pour in behind them. Real Madrid did not give up until the score was 4-0, and thus the Whites easily qualified for the final.
There they meet Osasuna.

Ten minutes into the match, fans chanted “Messi, Messi, Messi”, with a strong desire to bring back the superstar striker for the big club.

Two minutes later, Rodrygo came close to scoring another goal at the Camp Nou, but an inaccurate pass from Luka Modric saw Barcelona escape another late goal.

Hat-trick – again
Benzema completed his hat-trick in four days when he scored Real Madrid’s fourth goal this evening after 81 minutes. The forward also scored three goals (in six minutes!) as Real Madrid overtook Real Valladolid in LaLiga on Sunday.
After winning 4-0 in the second leg, the semi-finals ended 4-1 on aggregate to Real Madrid, who thus qualified for the Copa del Rey final.
There they meet Osasuna, who beat Athletic Bilbao 2-1 in two matches. The cup final will be played on May 6 at the Olympic Stadium in Seville.
