Senator for Dagbladet: – Simply dangerous

Tucson (Dagbladet): A few dozen Democrats showed up outside a small coffee shop in Tucson, Arizona. They are ready to knock on the doors of neighborhood voters in hopes of persuading them to vote in Tuesday’s midterm elections.

Senator Kelly has come to give everyone a pep talk. In recent weeks, the pilot and former astronaut himself has flown around the state in a small plane to meet voters.

He says the state’s Republican governor, Doug Ducey, agreed with the result, and also said Arizona is good at holding elections.

Kelly denies that he fears Biden’s low numbers will drag him and other Democrats into the presidency.

Worse than anything

– I don’t care about opinion polls. Here I am talking to the voters. Kelly says I fly myself across the state on a small plane and talk to voters about why this election is so important.
