Red politicians have been criticized for being the head of the company behind Steigan.no. He is currently stepping down from the party’s central committee.

Mot Dag AS is the co-owner and chairman of the group that owns the website Skotåm Steigan.no. The website was recently criticized for re-creating the Russian war campaign, and focused on the links between the website and several members of the Red Party.

Skotåm did not accept the website’s Russian propaganda, but said he was resigning from key positions to protect the party.

Benedikte Prynseid Hansen, the party’s secretary at Rødt, says the party has begun the process of getting input from the company on how to handle links with Steigan.no.

Rødt’s local team at the center of Trondheim is one of the groups calling for Rødt to sever all ties between politicians and the Internet.
