Sweden – Norway 1-2 (0-1)

Stockholm / Oslo (Dagbladet): – This is among the saddest in many years as a Swede.

Marcus Lifbe of Aftonbladet writes about Norway’s show of power in Stockholm on Sunday night.

– It is a disaster, writes the same man as well.

Ståle Solbakken’s early men took control of the settlement, and nineteen minutes later, Haaland secured the Norwegian leadership.

The same man went 2-0 up in the second half after a terrible defensive loss at the hands of Joachim Nilsson.

– Ui, too sloppy for Nelson, SVT’s Gabriel Malak writes about the score 2-0.

Sweden were reduced to 2-1 in extra time by Manchester United talent Anthony Ilanga.

– We take care of a bitch

After the match, Erling Braut Haaland revealed that he ended up having oral surgery with Swedish midfielder, Aleksandar Milosevic.

– He told me a whore. I can safely say I’m not, laughing Haaland tells TV 2.

– Second, he said he was going to break my leg, and after half a minute I scored a goal, and that was fine.

When Yerboin scored his second goal of the evening, he celebrated in front of midfielder Aleksandar Milosevic. Swedish Aftonbladet He refers to it as a “mockery gesture”.

Milosevic himself denies describing Haaland as a prostitute.

– I wouldn’t say that, he says Aftonbladet It continues:

– You played a football match now, and as always in matches there will be duels, dirty talk and everything. He explains to me that when I get out of there, I take people by the hand, and then there is nothing left.

Ståle Solbakken was asked about Milosevic’s suggestion at the post-match press conference.

I think Erling should expect opponents to try to take him physically and mentally. I don’t think there should be a big headline. This is what happens in the heat of battle. Erling has to bear it and Milosevic has to bear it, he says.

Sweden coach Jan Andersson did not comment on the incident.

– He has to answer that himself. What was speculated and discussed they should do. He told TV 2 I’m just focused on the match.

– He’s really kidding with him. Perhaps he lost a little header, and Erling scored two goals. Then it gets a little warm at the top. It’s only for our own good, says Leo Skerry Ostegaard, Norway’s stopper on the situation.

Controversial penalty

The big talk of the match was the controversial penalty awarded by Morten Thorsby after eighteen minutes. In the TV pictures, there seemed to be little contact between Thorsby and Swede Emil Kraft. However, judge Anthony Taylor chose to refer to the penalty mark.

The decision was not well received in Sweden.

– What the hell is this punishment? He wrote that it was the dumbest, most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen Aftonbladet Marcus Livebee on the referee’s decision.

The match’s big star, Erling Braut Haaland, agrees to rule the Swedes.

– He seems to be filming the Italian way, he tells TV 2 after the match.

Supported by the Ostegaard stopper:

Morten played in Italy so you might have learned there. I didn’t see it, but that’s how it happens. Rule. He says we can be lucky.

Sunday’s goals raise Haaland’s national team goals tally to eighteen in the same number of matches.

When asked what makes him score so much in the national team, he chose to pay tribute to coach Ståle Solbakken.

– I have to thank Ståle. He’s a nice guy, he says.

However, he would not reveal the moves Solbakken made.

I don’t think I’ll go into too many details. You can ask him yourself.

Norway for vacation

Norway came out strongly from the kick-off, and indeed, after four minutes, Mohamed “Moi” Al-Yunusi approached the lead. However, the Swedes fought back and Viktor Claesson had a fantastic opportunity to put a Swede ahead in the 11th minute.

Then Norway increased its pace.

Alexander Sorloth had to watch his head kiss the shaft before it popped out. Tronder’s Chance was a warning of what was to come.

Just two minutes later, Morten Thorsby got a penalty. He broke into the Swedish 16-meter Serie A pro team.

When he withdrew to the field, Emil Kraft could not keep up, and had to resort to illegal means. After some deliberation, the Englishman Anthony Taylor pointed to the penalty mark.

It caused strong reactions in the neighboring country when television images showed that there was little contact between Thorsby and Krafth. The latter also incurred a yellow card for being cut off.

Even in Norway, the decision attracted attention.

TV 2 commentator Jesper Mathisen said, “Not much touching.

From eleven meters, Erling Braut Haaland made no mistake, overtaking Norway in the lead.

Halland show

It was the revenge-starved home team that toured Friends Arena after the break. Seven minutes into the start of the round, only Berger Melling was the difference between the Swedish equaliser and the Swedish corner.

Ludwig Augustinsson hit a dangerous pole in the penalty area. In the end, the colleague returned to his craft. The Newcastle player tried to break into the ball, but the mentioned Melling saved brilliantly.

The Swedes kept pushing, which turned off the warning lights in the Norwegian suspension box.

“We have to come up with something aggressive, because we played out at Friends Arena this second round,” said Oyvind Alsker of TV 2 shortly after Emil Forsberg played Norway’s 16m.

With just over twenty minutes left, Haaland doubled his lead against the match track. Sorloth stunned City’s next star through the Swedish defence, and Haaland – in a familiar style – had no problems putting the ball into goal behind Olsen for the second time.

– They have no chance against Il Tempo Gigante. It’s very accurate and it’s very deadly, celebrity TV 2 expert Jesper Mathisen.

The scoring came after the well-known “Drillo recipe” with a long pass, a header, and finally – scoring.

– I think Drilo and Lagerback would have been proud of that goal, says Haaland even before Drilo hits:

– Long pass, trunk and scoring. It’s a goal after my heart, says the former national team coach.

Three minutes later, the radar pair introduced themselves again. Sørloth was played by Haaland, who attempted to hit the ball in a hat-trick. Here, however, Olsen took the ball out of danger.

Anthony Ilanga created the excitement when he lost 2-1 in overtime, but the goal should be just a consolation goal.
