Marie Paula was only 15 years old when she ousted Oda Gondrosen to win Idol. Now the latter hopes for revenge in a new duel between the two.
On Saturday night, he will be ready for his third MGP Dolphin Final of the year.
As NRK said this year, there are four participants competing for two and two. The two winners then compete for the final ticket to be awarded.
This weekend, Sturla Fagerli Larsen (27) of Orkdal will duel against Vilde Johannessen (26) of Tjøme. (See all participants she has.)
And as something of a replay from May 2020, Marie Paula (17) of Brien will battle Oda Gondrosen (25) of Fredrikstad.
The last time they fought a musician was Paula Youngest Idol winner ever.
The Gandros finished in bronze.
Mary hit me before the finish line. She says competing against her again will be a little special.
We are good friends, and it’s always boring to compete against someone you like.
They want revenge
Very boring, Paula thinks.
– Oda has a raw song and she is a good singer and I treat her to be in the final. But of course I want to emerge victorious from the duel.
Gondrosen believes that Bølla also has a great song, and stresses that she only wants the best “Idol” winner.
– But I will not hide that revenge would be nice! And I hope I’m the one who escapes with the final ticket.
According to Paula, I never felt like the two competed when they were on “Idol”.
– Oda was a good support, and we had a lot of fun together.
But there will be competition, they understand:
– Although it’s a victory in itself to be a part of the MGP, they both really want to go to the final, says Gondrosen.
The final will be held on February 19. Before that time, there’s a fourth Dolphin Final, as well as “Last Chance,” where all of the Dolphin Finalists get one last try – and one becomes the last of the finalists.
