Williams had been a police officer for 28 years when she decided in May 2020 to do something new.
You created an account on the controversial site OnlyFans, where your followers pay to view your content.
Hoping to spice up a boring sex life, the mother of two started posting pictures of her naked with her husband.
“I needed a creative outlet somewhere to be able to relax after my stressful job,” she explains.

On August 23, 2020, three months after she registered the account, her boss received an anonymous email.
According to Williams, the email stated that she was nude on OnlyFans and that this was inconsistent with a police job.

– It was totally unnecessary. She says it looks like they just wanted to see me naked.
She claims that her nude pictures have spread in the male-dominated workplace, and that no one is putting an end to it.
– The case was treated as gossip. I had to take a vacation. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t eat. She says it was terrible.

Melissa Williams says she never thought OnlyFans’ activity had anything to do with her work as a police officer.
– It was just a fun way to relax and be creative together. I’ve never worn a uniform. You used a fake name. She says most of my followers thought I was a housewife.

Melissa Williams now works full time at OnlyFans, and she constantly posts nude photos of her.
She markets herself as a “milf and neighbour”.
She told Dagbladet that she dreams of being able to work in the security industry and continues to post photos on OnlyFans.
– Now I will build my modeling career at the same time as I am looking for a new career. She says I am young and looking to the future.

A spokesperson for the police station where Williams previously worked told local Fox31 that the problem was that she did not ask permission for a side job.
“When it comes to side jobs, our guidelines do not specify OnlyFans or other similar online platforms, but the guidelines cover side jobs that may have a negative impact on an employee’s job performance, or that may damage the police station’s reputation,” the spokesperson said.
