Viaplay Group and Telenor agree to a new TV agreement

Viaplay Group and Telenor have agreed a new long-term distribution agreement in Sweden and Norway. Thus, Telenor’s 1 million subscribers continue to have access to the Viaplay Group’s sports, series and movie content.

Telenor and Viaplay announced this in a press release Thursday morning.

– In Norway, Viaplay movies and series will continue to be available through Telenor’s T-We streaming service and points-based package pricing, as Viaplay is already a popular choice for Norwegian viewers, the letter states.

Telenor will continue to distribute Viaplay’s live streaming service and the Viaplay Group’s line and pay TV channels in Sweden and Norway. In addition, Telenor will also carry Viaplay’s Premium offer, which includes, among other things, the English Premier League in Norway.
