Vipps – Stop the service

Vipps - Stop the service

The company confirms this in a press release.

– Thank you for using our mobile subscription. We learned a lot and did everything we could to make a good product. At the same time, we know we can’t continue until you get the mobile subscription you deserve, the company writes.

Vipps also informs that they have entered into an agreement with Ice, which handles the mobile customer relationship. It will happen during January 2023.

“Vipps’ customers are largely made up of people between the ages of 18 and 39 who value simplicity and value for money, which is ideal, because they’ll also have that with us at Ice,” Ice commercial director Shiraz Abid says in a press release.

continued:

– Our goal is to create competition in the mobile phone market, and in order to fight the big players, we must continue to grow. When Vipps was exiting the mobile market, Ice was a natural candidate to buy out the customer base. Customers fit in well with Ice, and we hope to bring them more.

If you’re over 18, you’ll receive a SIM card from Ice in the mail. Customers under the age of 18 must find a person who can be the owner of the mobile subscription. This person must call Vipps Customer Center during the month of December and confirm that they are the new owner.

Customers who do not wish to join Ice can cancel their Vipps Mobil subscription now and sign a new agreement with another mobile operator.
