Biden is said to have expressed his concern when he spoke at a private political fundraiser in Washington, and several media outlets, including Reuters and CNN.

The US president believed that Putin mistakenly believed that an invasion of Ukraine would lead to the disintegration of NATO and the European Union. He went on to say that the Russian president is a very sensitive man, and that he is now worried that Putin “has no way out” of the war.

Biden said I’m trying to figure out what to do with it.

The statements should not have been caught by the cameras at the event.

Biden on Monday night, Norwegian time, signed the Lend-Lease Act, which makes it easier to speed up arms deliveries to Ukraine. The change in law is based on a mechanism from 1941 that was at the time to help US allies defeat Nazi Germany.

The House of Representatives, by an overwhelming majority, gave the green light to the bill in April.

Biden said on the occasion that the United States supports the Ukrainians in “fighting to defend their country and democracy against Putin’s brutal war,” according to NTB. He admitted that the United States had already spent billions of dollars on Ukraine, but said it would be more costly to bow to aggression.

Celebrating Victory Day

On Monday, Russia celebrated its great victory day with a military parade on Red Square in Moscow. Victory Day is the Russian name for the day the victory over Nazi Germany is celebrated.

Regarding the celebration, Putin spoke, thanking his compatriots for risking their lives to defend the Motherland.

The West was preparing to invade our country. Putin said that NATO created threats on the border.

He added that the West, led by the United States, would attack Russia and that Western countries would not listen to the Russians. Putin claimed that Russia was facing an unacceptable threat in Ukraine and that the invasion was necessary to avoid the threat.

Western media speculated that Putin would use this day to announce an escalation in Ukraine or some other kind of change in the course of the conflict. But the letter did not contain any such statements.
