So far, the only official update we have received on Alisson Becker's injury is that he has a hamstring injury and will not return to action until after the international break at the earliest.
Earlier on Friday, it became clear that he was not in Brazil's squad for the special international matches against England and Spain on March 23 and 26.
Now Jurgen Klopp has spoken a little more about the injury, and has confirmed that it is a serious injury, but not so serious that he will miss the rest of the season.
– No date has been set for his return, but it is a real muscle injury. The rehab process varies from player to player, that's what it really is. It's not a small injury. It's not like it's going to be relevant next week or anything like that. We'll have to wait a few weeks, of course. He tells the Liverpool Echo.
There were rumors that the season might be over for the Brazilian. It's not that bad.

Kelleher is getting better and better
In Alisson's absence due to injury, Caoimhin Kelleher has really stood out, and he is improving. He was linked last summer and in January, but Liverpool opted to keep him, rejecting a bid from Nottingham Forest in January.
– It is normal to have these discussions with prepared players. It would never have been possible for a player to come in Caoimhin's position and ask for such things, because they have 10 other positions in which they could be used. – The most important thing was that we had to help him take the next step in his development, to play more matches. I saw it the same way the player did. He's played a lot of games now, in the Europa League, League Cup, and a fair number of league games too. You can ask him his opinion, but I think he's very happy with the decision he made this summer now.
Klopp is clear about how important it is to have a good backup goalkeeper.
The difference between the first goalkeeper and the second goalkeeper cannot be very large. There has to be quality in this position, because football is now too demanding to use a goalkeeper for four consecutive years in all competitions. A healthy player will always say that he can play, and goalkeepers are special players who will say that, but no one can. So we are very satisfied now.
– I did not interfere in Kelleher's future. For me there was no discussion at all. We talked about it, but for me there was no chance of selling it, so I wasn't too interested in who inquired. It had to be for a very high sum, at a price that would enable us to do something in a tough market. It's not like other goalkeepers go from point A to point B for £15-20m – that's completely unrealistic and just rubbish.
