Nicholas Jackson put the ball into Chelsea's goal in the 17th minute, but the goal was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee due to offside.

Overtime drama

An hour into the game, Noni Madueke pulled back after Chelsea had the ball high up the field.

Then it was time for some Gallagher magic with ten minutes to go. In extra time, Cole Palmer had the chance to secure Chelsea's win, but he missed the target.
